The first pair of "Happy Mittens" are done and they were tons of fun to make. And yes, they make me smile! The second pair are already underway and I hope to have oodles of them for the big November craft show.
They're so fun in fact, that we may just have a little giveaway very, very soon.

Those are fun! I could see a bin of mix and match your own especially for kids. It would totally stop the I lost a mitten problem.
pretty! Did you make them on your csm or by hand? I cranked a pair of socks this week and 1/2 pr today. Need to get the mate started now.
I'm going to a crank-in later this month to learn some new things. Last year we learned to make fingerless mitts.

That's a great idea, Heather!
And Jeanie, I did hand knit these. I've got my sock machine all set for fingering weight right now and the mittens are worsted. Aren't fingerless mitts fun to make on these machines? I just may have to crank out a pair this week!
It's hard to think about mittens in 90 degree heat, but how fun they look. I think my husband and I need to make some trips up to your mountains to explore from of those wonderful farms.
Such cheerful mittens. I love them! But for Wisconsin weather, I have to do stranded. It's just too cold!
