A Knitting Project For Your Best Friend

Are you looking for something really fun to knit for your best friend? How about a Doggy Placemat? Mac is quite excited about his and thinks all the other dogs will be very envious!

Any worsted weight yarn will work and you can make it in any color that you prefer. The words and little paws were all worked at the end in duplicate stitch.

We've just added the pattern on our Ravelry and Etsy sites for $3.00. Feel free to sell the items that you make from our patterns, but please give Tehachapi Sock Company credit for the pattern. Thanks so much.

Let's do a little giveaway, ok? Just leave a comment on this post and on Friday I'll randomly select one name to win a downloadable copy of this pattern. Be sure to leave an email address to make it easy for me. My printer is down, so I'm unable to send a hard copy of this design. Good luck and we'll see who wins on Friday.

That is the cutest thing and I'm sure Mac feels like he's at a 5 star resturant everytime he eats!
Wondering if Zak is a friend for Mac or Doris? Guess I have to wait and see.

Mac is one lucky dog. I bet Joe, my Jack Russell Terrier would love to have a placemat, too.

Just might have to make my boys one of those. :-)

Mr. Waddlesworth (my 3/4 toy poodle and 1/4 japanese chin) says he'd like me to make him one of these!
