Cranking Away..........

With all the rain that we're having here in the California mountains, I've been able to stay inside and just crank out oodles of socks.

I usually aim for three socks each day, but lately I've been doing four. Each sock is hand washed and hung out in front of the pellet stove to dry and block out.

This order is for 60 pair! One sock at a time and it'll get done.

I am so glad that Doris now has a friend. Zak sure does make lovely socks.

Wow that is a lot of socks! How is Zak working out or is that some of his?

The socks are lovely. 60 pairs will keep Doris and Zak out of trouble for a while.

I looked into getting a sock knitting machine. Seriously looked. But could not justify the $$. So I will keep stitching about on my trusty DPNs. But the small needles are ruining my wrists. Must take care. So I envy you and and am glad that you enjoy Doris and Zak. You do such lovely work.
