Sakkie Sock Yarn..A Personal Review & Giveaway
If you haven't tried this new sock yarn called "Sakkie" from Plymouth Yarn Company, run don't walk to your nearest yarn shop and buy some. Your feet will thank you! It's absolutely fabulous yarn and our sock machine just loves it.
It's a blend of 40% kid mohair, 40% superwash merino and 20% nylon. And it comes with a generous yardage of approximately 437 yards.
I just ordered several bags and they should arrive some time next week. So, let's have a little giveaway, ok? On Saturday, August 4th, I'll randomly draw one lucky name from comments left on this post for one pair of women's socks (size small - shoe size 6 - 8). That will allow time for me to make them up. The color will be a surprise, but I'm sure that you'll all love it.
Please be sure to leave contact information to make it a whole lot easier for me! Good luck and I look forward to hearing from you.

I have not heard of that yarn, but it sounds like it would be wonderful to knit with and wear. Very pretty color, too!
I would love to win these and they would fit me too! My first pair of socks is languishing on the needles ill with second sock syndrome which occurred as the second sock came out smaller than the first meantime for kicks I am knitting the equivilent of 5 socks to make Patons Striped Funky Monkey for the Flying Monkey Marathon.
