Sock Yarn Giveaway
How about we do a tiny giveaway? Just leave a comment on this post between now and June 30th and on July 1st, I'll randomly draw one name to win this skein of Schoeller + Stahl's Fortissima Colori sock yarn in color 11. This color is filled with the vibrant colors of the Grand Canyon and works up wonderfully into socks. Good luck and we'll see who wins on July 1st.
Our Sunday was gorgeous here in the Tehachapi Mountains. I felt like I was looking at New Mexico skies.
Our local weatherman is promising warmer days now and today is supposed to be our last coolish day. Could it really be? Is our wintery weather finally over? Our we going to jump right into summer with no spring? I have to wonder because the pellet stove is on as I write this!

I love the yarn and it really would make beautiful socks!
We have been in the 90's!! Blah!
Beautiful colors in that. I got to go to the Grand Canyon again a couple years ago and stayed for sunset. Such a beautiful spot!

I will be glad to send you some of our heat from North Alabama. It has been in the mid and upper 90's for the past 2 weeks with no rain. Maybe we will get some rain Sunday or Monday. It's 95 today.
The yarn looks beautiful.
I'd love to win this yarn. It's such beautiful colors and would knit into something fantastic. Thank you for the opportunity to enter.
It's pretty cold here in Ireland too, and that's not usual in mid-June.
Hey, you have a sock machine! Come visit and see my flock of circulars - mostly 100+ years old! They can be cranky and crochety, but making socks on them is the best feeling.
Oh that's pretty yarn.
All the photos are great, and it's fun to see what it looks like in your neck of the woods. SO different from here!
Count me in!
We've been in the 90's too. I have a cloth with me right now that I'm using to wipe the "dew" from my brow!
